Travelogue

Gran Canaria

Camel rides, jeep safaris, adventure tours, sailing excursions, dolphin watching, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, parachuting as well as barbeques at Sioux City, all that is offered on Gran Canaria when you are tired of sightseeing! It may only be the Canaries’ third biggest island, but it truly has got a lot to offer. The golden sands of Maspalomas  in the south make you feel as if you are somewhere in the Sahara desert, the lush forests in the north are peaceful and cool but if you want a bit more action, Maspalomas  and Las Palmas offer shops, restaurant, bars and plenty of cultural venues. Gran Canaria is truly an island of contrasts and is  a great destination all year round.
