Something fishy

DSC 9270

Powsin is a quiet neighbourhood of the Wilanów district of Warsaw.  It is well-known for its Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden was established in 1990. On its 30 hectares opened to the public, visitors can find almost 8000 different plant spices from various part of the world. Visiting the Garden is highly recommend for flower lovers because collections of roses and magnolias are the biggest in Poland. But I am not going to show this splendid garden, I am going to show a newly build private palace. Well, not exactly palace, as on paper it’s just a fishing and boat rental place! As the grounds on which it was build is under special protection, only a small scale business could have be established here.   Environmentalist and local people are not too pleased with this “small scale” but what can be done? Who knows!
