Warsaw by Night

DSC 9898

After sunset, Warsaw dresses itself in sparkling colourful lights. At night, it is possible to admire spectacular illuminations of historic buildings and monuments without crowds. To name a few beautiful sights of Warsaw: Old Town, Nowy Swiat or Agrykola Street with some remaining gas street lamps lit in the traditional way by a Warsaw lamplighter. Right next to Agrykola Street, there is the most beautiful park in Warsaw, commonly known as Lazienki Park, the lavish summer residence of the last King of Poland, Stanislaw August Poniatowski. The icing on the cake is the Royal Route with superb aristocratic residences, churches and famous monuments, Presidential Palace, statue of Copernicus, Warsaw University.
