Liw is a village in Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies on the river Liwiec, approximately 68 km east of Warsaw. Castle in Liw is one of the most remarkable sights on Podlasko-Mazowieckie borderland. Today, the castle is one of the largest museum of arms in Poland. It presents the collection of weapon and firearms. Museum also boasts a collection of Sarmatian portraits from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and a large collection of paintings and graphics on battlefields.
